I am looking to fill two tourism professional positions in the Middle East.

POSITION TITLE:
Process Management Specialist

Job Description: The Process Management Specialist will be an integral team
leader in delivering the necessary data, frameworks and human resource
specialists necessary to establish a Regional Tourism Commission.
Qualifications and Requirements: Highly motivated and energetic professional
with exceptional organizational, analytical and project/process management
skills for data collection and synthesis. Proven track record of project
successes, implementing problem solving solutions and meeting delivery
schedules essential. Human resource project management and motivation
capabilities experience in GCC and Islamic locations a plus. Fluency in
Arabic preferred, but not essential. Educational background in process
and/or project management preferred. This is a one-year contract program of
benchmarked activities to be developed and co-managed with a team of local
and international counterparts, senior management specialists, augmented with
tourism specialists and other professionals on an as-needed basis.
Timing: Immediate.
Salary and Benefits: Negotiable, with numerous benefits and ground support
including residence, car/driver and leisure airlift.

POSITION TITLE:

Interim Director of the Regional Tourism Commission
Job Description: The Interim Director will formerly establish the RTC,
recruit the necessary staff, plan and implement a Year 1 program of
benchmarked activities over a period of 12 to 18 months. A key focal area of
activity will be an event or series of events.
Qualifications: Previous experience with establishing and managing a tourism
organization at the national or sub-national level. Previous experience in
the private sector for a travel and tourism company would be ideal. Must
possess superior problem solving skills and ability to identify and secure
opportunities for public-private sector partnerships. Previous product
development experience in travel and tourism either for a company and/or
destination desirable. Understanding of how to effectively utilize public
relations and the media communications desirable..
