On 20th August Yacine Khelladi made the following posting to the this group:
"A group of Caymanian tourism officials were in Jamaica this week
> to observe programmes and initiatives being undertaken under the
> Environmental Audits for Sustainable Tourism Project (EAST).
>
> EAST, a two-year-old project of the Jamaica Hotel & Tourist
> Association and the United States Agency for International
> Development, and implemented by the US consulting firm, Hagler
> Bailly Inc is spearheading initiatives towards "the greening" of
> the Jamaican tourism product".
Does anyone have additional information about the project including possible
contacts?
I'm assisting the Ecotourism Society of Kenya to conduct a workshop on
ecorating in early October. The EAST project sounds very relevant to our
activities.
Any assistance would be most welcome.
