The Department of Management Studies, UWI-Mona will host a workshop on
“Tourism and Urban Development for Peace” from November 27 – 29 at the
Institute of Jamaica. Topics to be discussed at the Workshop include:
Tourism and Urban Economic Development Renewal, Community Tourism,
Return of the Cruise Ship to Kingston Harbour, Tourism Marketing and
Destination Branding, Tourism and Inner City Peace, Entrepreneurship,
Small Business Culture and Tourism Development, Linking Tourism to the
communities: Innovative IT, and “Foresighting”. The public is invited.
